Welcome friends, hope that you're enjoying this study about the favor of God. Today, we will talk about what this favor can do, the kind of impact that this favor can cause. I'd like to bring to our attention the way God dealt with His people, Israel. They were slaves in Egypt, but when we read about the beginning of the Exodus, Exodus chapter 3, verse 21, it says that they left the land of Egypt with abundance of the Egyptians. So, they did not just step out of their slavery, but we see that they took gold, silver, treasures with them, the material possessions of the Egyptians and walked out. God favored His people in such a way that they could be set free and have an abundance as they stepped out on their journey to the promised land. One more turn- around that comes to my mind is through the life of Esther. Esther, a simple girl once again whom God chose to change history. Through Esther's leadership, there were people led into a fast and we see how she was able to save an entire nation. How did this happen? It happened because God and His favor was upon the life of an individual. So, we have considered the children of Israel, we've also talked about a lady by the name of Esther and today I'm here to encourage each and every one of us. Through our lives, God can bring a turnaround. Today, you and I, we could be carrying a cause in our hearts, we could be carrying a dream in our hearts, we could be carrying a vision in our hearts and we could be wondering; as we seek the Lord, nothing drastic or dramatic seems to be happening right now, but I just want to encourage you, keep moving forward with God, keep holding on to that stirring that God has put on the inside of you. The way the children of Israel, in that moment of favor, moved out of slavery, journeying into the promised land, God is able to cause these moments to come upon you as well. The way God picked Esther and put her into preparation to be a queen, God can uplift you and put you in that position where you are able to use the skills, the talents and work towards the cause that He has put in your heart. Just because things are not moving at the pace that you would desire, it does not mean that God is not at work. God is working, He is working on our behalf, seek His favor and His favor will cause things to turn around. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for loving us so dearly. Father, thank you that your love brings a turnaround in our lives. Father, thank you that your love can bring a turnaround in the lives of the people around us. God, thank you Lord, thank you for such favor that you're extending upon your people and things are changing, we are being set in motion to accomplish mighty things for your glory and thank you for that, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
