Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you so much for joining us throughout the course of the week. The last two weeks, we’ve been looking at total shalom and different aspects and scriptures to it, little meditations, little nuggets everyday things that we can think about/ reflect on and try and apply in our lives and pursue for ourselves and say, God, I want to live in a place of total shalom, I want to be in a place of perfect peace, no matter what goes on, I want to dwell there. This is something God desires for us. Very interesting in the Old Testament, God gave instruction to His priests, He said, here is how I want you to bless my people. In my name, representing me, I want you to speak these words over my people. In other words, God is speaking this over and over again over His people. What did He tell them? Numbers chapter 6, verses 23 to 27, ‘Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace/ shalom. So, they shall put My name on the children of Israel, and I will bless them.’ God was telling His priest, I want you to bless my people and tell them, may God do this for you, may He lift up His own countenance, meaning may He look so favorably, just causing His favor to come upon you, that is what that phrase means, lift up His countenance and make His face shine upon you. What will happen? He will cause His grace and shalom to abound in your life. He says, this is what I want you to speak over my people. Why do you think God wanted His priests to keep saying these on His people? Because that is what He wanted His people to have. He wanted His people to enjoy His favor, enjoy His abounding grace and His total shalom. This is true for us today. It was true in the Old Testament and even more so in the new, it’s a better covenant and so, may you and I, receive, live and enjoy and walk in total shalom because that is what God wants for you and me. The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you total shalom. Let’s pray, Father, I just pray for every individual, every household that is listening in, we pray that they will be blessed with total shalom. Enable us to live in a place of perfect peace, spirit, soul and body, everything in our world under total shalom, may that be our experience journeying through life, that we will walk in shalom, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
