Hello everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity once again to meditate on God’s word and pray together. Proverbs chapter 6, verses 6 through 8, ‘Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.’ You can’t stop ants from doing their work. No matter how many times we sweep away that sand, they have muzzled through the cracks and they have come back again, and the next day and the next. That lone ant that we see warring around in the house is not doing so aimlessly, it has a mission. It is looking for food and once it finds it, it will alert the rest of the ants to come and help carry the loot. Here is the thing, this ant came searching of its own volition. Nobody sent it to go look for food. Even without any form of leadership, ants keep working. Interestingly, each ant knows what his or her role is and it does that task with zeal. Ants intuitively know that the work they do is for the benefit of the entire community. Ants are wiser than they look. It knows when the food is plenty, when it must be stored for seasons and when there is none. They are determined to succeed but just like birds in the air, they don’t have any care in the world, God cares for them. All they care about is doing what God made them do. But God cares for us even more than ants and birds. With God’s help, we can love sincerely but keep your spiritual fervor serving the Lord. Live at peace with everyone, never be lacking in zeal, be devoted to one another, love and honor one another above all else, this is a challenging task. It is a full-time work but God’s gift and grace will empower us just like the ant and we will have enough to do from morning to evening and we can do it the next day and the next. Let us pray and ask God to give us the zeal of the ant that we may be faithful in all that we do. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for this time. We thank you for your word. We thank you for teaching us form creation that you are a God who has designed us to work and even as we work, I pray that you will give us the zeal and passion and do everything that we have to do knowing that it is to glorify you. We thank you for the wonderful opportunity, thank you for the strength and ability, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
