Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

The Vessel (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings! Thank you so much for journeying with us through this week. We have been reflecting on Jeremiah chapter 18, verses 1 through 6, talking about the potter and the vessel. Today I just want to talk about the vessel - the finished product. As God works in our lives, we are shaped and formed and designed intricately and beautifully into that finished product and as we approach more and more the finished product and God puts all those wonderful colors on our lives and we are coming into that final product that He envisioned for us; you know we are still the vessel. Can the vessel take any credit for itself? Can the vessel say, ‘I have become this wonderful vessel’ Can it? Surely not! Everything the vessel becomes is fully attributed to the working of the potter. The potter is the Master craftsman, and it is His skill, it is His artistic abilities/ talents that is displayed and expressed through the vessel. So, when people see the finished work, they marvel, they are amazed, they may say how wonderful this vessel is, but the vessel can take no credit. The vessel is only expressing the greatness, the marvelous work of the potter. That is the posture we must always maintain in our lives, as God works upon us and we are bring formed and fashioned into what He wants us to be, people are seeing the shape that we are taking and people are seeing all the wonderful things that are taking place in our lives and the things that God is doing, remember we are just vessels. We are only expressing the greatness of the potter. He is the potter, we are the vessel, it is His greatness being expressed through the pieces of work, the finished product that we are becoming. May all the glory and all the honor be His and His alone. May people see, enjoy, and glorify God through us, the earthen vessels. As the apostle Paul says, we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of ourselves. Or as Paul wrote in 2 Timothy chapter 2, that we are vessels of honor, sanctified and fit for the Master’s use, that is what God does through us for His glory. Let’s pray, Father, may we never fail to give you all the glory and the honor, knowing that we are vessels that you’ve shaped and formed, that it is your greatness expressed through our lives. You are the potter, we are the clay, that you form into these vessels - vessels that display your glory, we thank you, in Jesus’s name, Amen
