Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally. It is indeed a joy and privilege, for us as believers to follow the Lord and study His word together. As we have been studying this week, we are looking at different ways by which we can minister healing. Do you know that the Lord wants to heal His people, through His people, through you, and I, through ordinary believers? He wants to move on our behalf, and He has laid out in scripture that when we lay hands on the sick, they will be healed. He is talking about people who believe in His name, when believers move out and do this, they will be healed. One of the ways by which people can be healed or be ministered to in healing is through the prayer of faith and issuing word of command. James chapter 5, verses 14 and 16 says this, ‘Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.’ We see that this prayer of faith, asking in faith, believing in faith is what will save the sick and the sins will be forgiven. We are exhorted to do that as we come together, so we can do that, reach out and pray. The other thing is also the word of command, we see that the Lord Jesus commanded the condition of the sickness, He also commanded the evil spirits which were causing that condition. Luke chapter 4, verse 39, ‘So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.’ This person who was down with fever, the Lord rebuked the condition, so that is a lesson for us that we can use the authority that He has given us, and in His name, by the power of His precious blood, we can command/ rebuke that condition/ sickness, in this case the Lord rebuked the fever and it left her. Mathew chapter 8, verse 16 says, ‘When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.’ The Lord cast out the spirits with a word/ command, He spoke something, He commanded those spirits to leave. Scripture records for us that He healed all who were sick and evil spirits came out. This is something for us to learn, to apply that we can pray the prayer of faith, at the same time, we can also rebuke/ issue a word of command, both are biblical and scriptural and are for each one of us, it is not just for someone in healing ministry, or for someone who is serving full time but for everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus. So, today, if there is an opportunity, pray for the sick, and rebuke the condition, pray in faith and see the hand of the Lord lift that person up. Father, we thank you that even as we have studied that we can pray in faith, pray believing and we can receive, and at the same time, we can, with the authority that you have given us, issue that word of command, whether it is addressing the spirits that are causing the condition or the condition itself. I pray that we will do that even as you give us opportunities to do so, we thank you, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
