Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. It is such a joy once again to come together to meditate on God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer. This week, we’ve been talking about assurance and today, we talk about ‘seated at the right hand of God’. Hebrews chapter 1 and verse 3, it says, ‘He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.’ At the beginning of creation, when God had finished all His creating work, what did He do? Genesis chapter 2, verse 2 says ‘He rested’. Does this mean that God sat back and did nothing? No! It means that God had accomplished what He had set out to do and now He reigns over it all. We get the same picture here of Jesus; after He finished His work on the cross, after He provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Jesus accomplished everything He had set out to do and now He sits at the Fathers right hand. Jesus is seated at the right hand of God which means that He conquered death. Secondly, Jesus is seated at the right hand which also means that He has the highest place, a place of authority. In the bible, the right hand, especially God’s right hand is a hand of strength, authority and blessing. Being on the right hand of God means that He shares God’s authority, strength, and blessing. It is the highest place of honor given to anybody. When Jesus was seated at the right hand of God, it means that all other things are under Him. He is supreme, He is the ruler, He is King. This doesn’t mean that Jesus is sitting around and doing nothing. To be seated in God’s right hand means to reign, to actively rule, to work over the development of God’s kingdom. Jesus became human, one of us, for a purpose to provide purification of sins but God restored Him back to His rightful place in the throne in heaven. What does this mean for us? The privilege of intimacy with God is irrevocable. You and I can enjoy immediate access to God in prayer. Hebrews chapter 4, verse 6 says, ‘Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.’ Because Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, you and I can come boldly to the throne of grace, not by any works that we have done but by the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. What an amazing privilege we have! Let us pray, Father, we thank you, for this awesome privilege that you have given us, we can access your throne room, we can pray and call unto you, call you ‘Abba Father’ because of what you have done for us on the cross. We thank you that you are interceding for us, that you will hear our prayers. You are a God who will just work things out in your own way for us. We thank you; we pray that each one of us as your children will walk in this assurance and know that your presence will always be with us, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
