Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Remember (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Nancy Ramya

Welcome everyone, thank you once again for being a part of this study. We've seen how God gave victory to the Children of Israel through the leadership of Deborah and today I want to focus on the fact that she was a person who remembered what took place. She also remembered the people who were involved in the battle that just unfolded. She remembered how God rescued them. She remembered many things about the battle.

So, as you read her song or poem in Judges chapter five, you will see a description of everything that had actually taken place. Now this is a lesson for us. In life we go from season to another season and sometimes we could encounter the similar challenge in every season. In those moments, we forget how God had really come through for us in the previous season. But if we are like Deborah, we make an effort to remember. Yes, there was a time when I went through sickness and the Lord healed me and so I praised the Lord for it. But when I encounter another problem or difficulty in my body, I remember if the Lord could do it, then, I know that He hasn't changed. As scripture says, I, the Lord, I do not change. And also, the fact that His covenant name reveals to us that he is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us and so based on what God has done in the past, I can walk in faith tomorrow and that is why it is so important for us to remember. The scripture says, forget not all his benefits. Don't forget because He is the one who has blessed us. And sometimes we get these immeasurable blessings upon our lives and at that time were so happy about it and the next moment when something goes wrong, we forget how God actually blessed us. But it's good to remember what God has done. Rejoice, maybe you just want to reminisce those blessings and those deliverances and say God, thank you, you have done this in my life, and I cannot forget what you have done for me. So, remember and make a memorial, if necessary, of the good things that the Lord has done. And I want to read for us from Psalm chapter 77 and verse 11 where the Psalmist says, ‘I will remember the works of the Lord. Surely, I will remember your wonders of old’. Our God is a God who performs wonders after wonders in our lives. And when we keep an account of all these wonders, we end up having a grateful heart, a thankful heart and like Deborah, I'm sure many of us if asked to share our testimonies and sometimes people sharing testimonies, go in to all the small details of what time it was, and how the weather was because they remember how God came through for them in those real challenging circumstances. So, I just want to encourage us remember the goodness of the Lord, remember the greatness of the Lord.

Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank you that Lord you are our Father Lord who blesses us God. We pray that you will help us remember everything you've done for us Lord. And we ask, let our hearts continually give glory to your name. Father, make us such people, in Jesus’s name we pray Amen.
