Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for this opportunity to minister to each of you. Today, we will be talking about the power in consecration. 1 Corinthians chapter 9, verse 27, ‘But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.’ Consecration is one of God’s indispensable requirements from a Christian. Those who are called by His name, ought to be consecrated unto Him. Throughout scriptures, we find that God consecrated people and He used them greatly for His purposes. Daniel was consecrated, Joseph was consecrated, the prophets in the Old Testament lived a consecrated life, the Lord Jesus Himself, consecrated Himself to the Father while He walked on earth. In the Old Testament, consecration was required for everyone who had to render their service to God, that has not changed today as well. Consecration is not only required from each one of us as believers, every Christian is called to serve God in different capacities, through the diverse gifts, grace and talents God has bestowed upon us. Every one of us is expected to live this consecrated life. In the Old Testament, consecration basically had to do with the anointing of a person with oil. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. With it, we go about rendering service to God. Therefore, our body must be consecrated. Why is so much emphasis laid on consecrating the body? God needs a body to work on the earth. Without a vessel of a human body, the Holy Spirit cannot fully operate on earth. Our spirit and soul as well cannot do anything for God on earth without the body. Every Christian has a body but not every Christian can produce the same quality of service to God. The output is very much dependent on the individual level of consecration. Self-discipline is a vital requirement for a consecrated life. The Holy Spirit wants to keep us as spiritual and holy as possible. He makes efforts in doing so but if a Christian is not self-disciplined, they will rebel against the Holy Spirit. Consecration brings us into a closer walk with the Lord. God loves it when we as believers devote ourselves, our entire lives and when we draw to Him, the scriptures says that He draws closer to us. It is not always that some Christians are more anointed than others. The anointing of the Hoy Spirit is the same Holy Spirit that all genuine Christians have. Those who seem to be more anointed than others, simply have paid the price. One way to pay the price is by living a consecrated life. The Christian who lives a consecrated life automatically becomes a threat to the kingdom of darkness. The benefits that come with consecration are worth the price that must be paid for. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for teaching us to consecrate our lives. Even as we do that, we know that you are pouring out your blessings, your benefits, love and grace upon us. We receive this this morning and we pray that we will continue to consecrate every area of our lives for the purposes of God, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
