Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom, we welcome you today to another devotional. We have been looking into the richness of God's love and I trust we have been blessed, by just understanding different attributes of His love. Today, we will be looking at the personal love of God. We see the Love of God personal to each one of us, in one of the most read and loved Psalm, Psalm chapter 139 versus 1 to3, ‘Oh Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.’ You may be familiar with some families who have a large number of children, maybe 6 or 8 or 9 children and it may amaze you at the way that the parents know the details of every child of that home; they know about their personalities, their preferences, their stubbornness, their joy, their weaknesses and it's something that the parents do because of their love for them. So, if this is what earthly parents know about their children, how much more does the Heavenly Father know about each one of us personally. The love of God is very distinctive, and it is very personal, and we read that in our scripture today, that this entire chapter of Psalms 139 talks about His continuous presence and His personal knowledge about us. He has His knowledge of each one of us is complete, even to the finest of details. As we look into those three verses, we see that His love is intimate. It says you have searched me and known me. God knows each of us intimately, He knows everything about us, He knows what we do, He knows every detail about us, He's gone into every nook and crevice of our personality and really knows us, like nobody else does. Verse two says, ‘you know my sitting and my rising’, it shows that God's love is so intimate that He just does not know about the casual dealings of us, but He even knows about the deep reflections of our hearts, He knows us that personally, that internally, that intimately. Verse three says, ‘you comprehend my path and my lying down’. He is so intimately acquainted to every activity or every path that we take, nothing that we do misses His eye. Isn't it a privilege to know that God loves each one of us? No matter how many of us are in this world, each one of us personally and intimately and acquainted with every detail of our lives. His love for us is very unique, it's very special to each one of us. Let's remember that He loves us extravagantly, He loves us generously, He loves us personally and intimately. And let's soak in the love that God has for us. Let's pray together Heavenly Father, we are so privileged to just feel this love, to experience this personal love that is so much in detail. We know that nobody can love us like you do, help this to warm our hearts. Lord, we pray that we will feel tender, we will know the vastness of your love for us and the personal way that you love each one of us. Teach us Father to just dwell on this every day, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
