Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and thank you once again for the opportunity to come to you today and spend these few moments in God’s word and prayer. We are meditating this week on Jesus being the prince of peace, recognizing that the peace He gives to us is very different from what the world gives, that peace is in Him, it is in the person and we can have peace when we understand and recognize that He reigns above it all, above the storms, winds and waves, He is ruler and King and the increase of His peace will never be diminished in any way. I also want to point us to what Jesus said in John chapter 16, verse 33, He said, ‘These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.’ Here is another reason why and how you and I can experience the peace that Jesus gives to us, recognizing that He has overcome the world. He said, in the world you will have tribulation, that means there will be things that cause distress, disturb our lives but He said in the middle of it, be of good cheer, you maintain your joy because He said I have overcome the world, I have overcome everything that is in the world that could possibly disturb you and come against you in an attempt to rob you of your peace. So, when we are in the middle of those situations that disturb our peace and trouble us, trying to bring fear and worry and anxiety and panic and so on, remember He has overcome those things. So, when you look at those things, don’t consider/ pay attention/ focus on how difficult, how complex, how troublesome the situation is, you look at those things and say, Jesus, you said you have overcome this, conquered it, triumphed over it, subdued these things, so, I am looking to my prince of peace, in you I have peace, you are the ruler of peace and you are greater than the things that disturb me and I’m asking you to solve/ intervene in these things and to take care of these situations. You speak to those circumstances and say Jesus has already conquered you, overcome this situation, He has triumphed over this, He has done it already so, I’m going to be of good cheer. Let’s pray, Lord Jesus, we thank you that you are our prince of peace and over every circumstance/ situation that may try to rob us of our peace, we declare Jesus has overcome you, triumphed over you and therefore we will be of good cheer because in Him, we have peace, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
