Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much once again for giving us this opportunity to come together and spend a few moments in God’s word and pray as well. We will be wrapping up this week on evangelism and today, we will talk about passing it on. Mathew chapter 28, verse 19, ‘Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.’ The great plan has been accomplished, Christ has died for us, He has risen from the dead, our sins have been paid for, and death has been defeated. Now, imagine being on that mountain in Galilee, you are up there having heard that the resurrected Jesus is coming to meet you there and then He arrives. On a mountain you can see for miles all around and it feels like you are looking over the whole world yet if you look up you feel like a tiny dot. Sometimes, you may even feel that can fall off the mountain at any moment. Jesus has chosen the ideal spot to tell His disciples that He has all authority in heaven and earth. Everything the disciples can see around and above them belongs to the Lord Jesus. The good news about Jesus is that He offers forgiveness of sins and a new life. Anyone who has heard this good news has this privilege of sharing the news with others. We are to pass it on, this is the wonderful mission of the Lord’s church and it will continue to everyone has heard the good news. Like those 72 messengers, we are invited to share Jesus to everyone around us. 72 is more than 12 but even this group of people could not reach out to everyone but these people who Jesus sent out represent the star of a mission to tell the world how Jesus had shown them His love. The mission continues after Jesus dies; the mission continues even today; the mission will continue until He comes again. Something so amazing cannot be kept secret, let’s pass on the good news of Jesus’ love to everyone. The story continues everyday as you share with the world around us, let us remember to pass on the baton, to share the gospel and to do the ministry that God has called us to do. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for this beautiful moment. We thank you for your grace and mercy, we thank you for this entire week. We pray that even in our studies this week, that you will continue to lead us, empower us, anoint us by your Spirit that we may truly be the salt, be the light, that we may truly fulfill your plans and purposes. We thank you Father, bless each one of us, we ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
