Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally. We are so glad that you could be here today on todays’ daily devotional, where we take some time to look into God’s word and to apply God’s word in our lives and to experience the truth of God’s word. Today and this week, we are going to look at this topic of acknowledging who we are, what has happened to us in Christ Jesus. So, in Christ- acknowledgement. We are going to look at Philemon verse 6 and this is what it reads, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.’ The sharing of your faith meaning the communication of the faith that we have, the lifestyle, the life that we live, we communicate it through our life, words and choices and so on. The sharing of our faith will become effective when we acknowledge every good thing that is in us through Christ Jesus. Every good thing that we have received, that has happened to us, that has changed us because of the Lord Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. When the Lord Jesus died on the cross and rose again, He did something that affected us spiritually and that is something we need to take note of. To acknowledge means to recognize and accept. What are we going to acknowledge, recognize and accept today? 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verse 21 says this, ‘For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.’ In Christ, we have been justified and we have been made righteous. Romans chapter 3, verses 23 and 24 says that, ‘for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.’ We have been justified and made righteous. We have been made righteous and justified which means we have been acquitted of all wrong doing. All the charges have been acquitted, we have been set free and we have been released from all the charges of all the wrongdoings. That could be something that we are ignorant of, we may say, I’m just a believer, I’m trying to make it through in this world, I’m struggling with this and that but do we know that we have been justified and that all the charges against us have been acquitted not because of our performance or not because of something spiritual that we accomplish but because of the fact that we are in union with the Lord Jesus and because of His work on the cross. So, we have been acquitted of all wrongdoing and we have been justified. Second thing is that we have been made righteous, we have the right standing with God. In fact, this scripture that we just read now says that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. What do we do? We recognize and accept that truth and say that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Shall we pray, Father, we thank you that today as we look into your word, we see that we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, that we have been clothed in the righteous that you impute to us. We thank you that we have been justified and acquitted of all the wrong doings that could hold us back, we have been released from that and today we can walk free, live a life of righteousness from this place of strength that you have given us, we thank you for doing this, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
