Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and thank you for joining us to a fresh series of Living Supernaturally. We hope to bring God’s word and encourage you through this week. This week, we are looking at a fresh topic which is to activate God’s presence. To live with the conscious awareness of God’s presence is the desire of all believers and activating God’s presence is a very simple discipline just like other disciplines that we may engage in, in our time of worship and devotions and study. There is nothing mystical or mysterious about it, we just want to ensure we create an atmosphere that is inviting Gods presence. Are we aware of God’s presence in our lives? The reality is that God is always with us but we need to recognize Him in our everyday lives. One of the first truths that we need to grasp, to be aware and activate God’s presence is to know that our God is an omnipresent God. Jeremiah chapter 23, verses 23 and 24 reads, ‘Am I a God who is only in one place? asks the Lord. Do they think I cannot see what they are doing? Can anyone hide from me? Am I not everywhere in all the heavens and the earth?” asks the Lord.’ Scripture is very clear about the fact that God is omnipresent, that is one of the attributes of God, meaning that God is everywhere, all surrounding, without exception, in every place and at every time, He is everywhere at once. Unlike us, God is everywhere, all the time and He is not limited to time and space like we are. The prophet Jeremiah’ words in this is not a random reflection about God, it is a truth about God that we can stand on. God is always who God is, wherever He is, His character, His attributes affect everything He is in contact with. God’s omnipresence means that He sees us, that He knows us, He is with us and He will never, ever leave us. It is a very practical truth because the greater our awareness is of His presence, the more we live in the healthy fear of the Lord. We learn to go through our day with God, abiding in Him moment by moment, no matter where we are because we know that He is present everywhere. We find it like a natural thing to constantly keep praying and talking to Him because He is always there with us. If we look at Psalm chapter 139, there are some verses that shares a passage that is focused on God’s omnipresence, it is His ability to be everywhere at once. David mentions some of the places that He might go only to discover that God is there. The knowledge of God’s presence is something that comforted David, he knew that God would be with Him everywhere. For a believer, God’s omnipresence is a comfort, so as we meditate on how we activate His presence, let’s be more aware of this attribute of God. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you that you are with us everywhere no matter where we go, to the heights, to the depths, you are there with us. We can never escape your presence. Thank you for this truth, build this into us and bring us to a confidence in engaging with you, thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
