Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

by Ps Paul Emmanuel

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much once again for this opportunity to spend time in God’s presence and a few moments in God’s word as well. This week, we have been talking about reconciliation and how God has reconciled us to have right standing between us and God and also people around us. Today, we will talk about nothing can separate us. Romans chapter 8, verses 39 and 39, ‘For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ These two verses are among the greatest verses in the entire bible. The really have formed the capstone to Romans chapter 8. This chapter begins with a declaration that therefore now, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus and it concludes with the declaration that there is no separation between God and man. In the first 8 chapters of the book of Romans, Paul moved from honest reality of sin to our need for salvation and he needs with the incredible reality of being God’s child. Now, Paul wants to draw this to a conclusion, he says in effect that if you understand the things about God, the He wants us, that He has done everything for us to save us and that He gives us the Spirit that you and I can be part of the same family, then if God is for us, who can be against us. He also says in the verse that I am convinced. The apostle Paul is saying, absolutely convinced, there is a root of conviction about this and there was no turning back from it. The idea is Paul is saying, I have become convinced and I will remain convinced. This is not just a mere passing moment, whether the apostle Paul was in prison or out doing ministry, whether he was successful or not, he was convinced of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul is saying, I have been anchored to this and I remain anchored to this and I am not moving from this place. Death separates us from family, this physical world, our location on this earth, from business, from the pleasures of this world, our body and there is everything else that death will separate us from. Remember the thief on the cross, Jesus said to him, today, you will be with me in paradise, there was no separation. There was no separation form the love of God with the thief on the cross. The same way, today, there is no separation between us and the Lord Jesus Christ. When sin comes to separate us, make it a goal to say no and through Christ’s sacrifice, He makes us His children and remember that neither life nor death, nor angels nor demons can separate us from the love of Christ. What a joy it is this morning to know this and to walk with this conviction! Let us pray, Father, we thank you for this powerful word, your word that is alive and sharper than a double-edged sword. Penetrate our heart. I pray that even as we read and learn, that we will be convicted and know that there is nothing that can separate us, that every barrier has been broken. Hep us to walk in this understanding, give us the wisdom and grace, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
