My World At Peace (Daily Devotional)

Greetings and thank you so much for journeying throughout this week with us, day after day, as we have been reflecting and thinking about living in total shalom. How do we live in this place of perfect peace and we have been pointing us to different scriptures and insights that will hopefully help us move in and journey into that place of perfect peace. I want to challenge you today, to be determined to bring your entire world into a place of total shalom, that should be your aspiration, your desire. God, I want my world to be in a place of perfect peace or I want perfect peace to fill every part of my world. When I say my world, I mean your world, things that concern you, you as a person, spirit, soul and body, things that matter to you if you are married, it can mean your family, spouse, children, your place of work, your profession if you are a working professional or your studies if you are a student. Whatever it is, your world, everything that matters to you comes under total shalom, that should be our aspiration and desire. Jesus said in John chapter 16, verse 33, ‘These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.’ Notice, He said, in me, I want you to have peace. You, that means everything about you, your world in a place of peace because you are in Jesus and if you are in Jesus, everything that concerns you comes under Him, under the prince of peace, under Jehovah Shalom, under His covenant for shalom. So, you begin to say, God, let every part of my being, let every part of my world come under total shalom and you declare total shalom over every part of your world. Is there tribulation out in the world? Yes, but your world comes under the covenant of God’s peace. Let’s pray, Father, we being each of our worlds, each of everything that concerns us under your total shalom. Let total wellbeing, everything of health, strength, favor, relationships, blessing, prosperity fill every part of our world that we maybe under total shalom, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
