Daily Devotional church in Bangalore
by Ps Ashish Raichur

Greetings and thank you for joining us today on this daily devotional. Thank you for the opportunity to come to you and spend this time in the word and prayer. This week, we are reminding ourselves about the importance of declaring God’s word over us, speaking the word with our own mouth and declaring our faith in His word. When God spoke to Joshua in Joshua chapter 1, verse 8 as he was about to embark on his life assignment, God gave him one very important, clear instruction in Joshua chapter 1, verse 8, He said, ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth.’ In other words, keep the words of this book always in your mouth. You meditate in it day and night, live by it, observe to do all that is written in it and then you will make your way prosperous and have good success. One of the things that God instructs Johsua is to keep His word in his mouth. You keep meditating it, keep doing it and you will have success and be prosperous in your life assignment. That is a principle that we employ in our lives today, that we keep His word in our mouth, that means, we declare His word, say what God has said, declare His promises over our life, declare everything God has promised for us, we keep His word in our mouth. Let the words of God be the words of your mouth. Let His word reside in your mouth. You speak His word in every situation and circumstance, when it is good, bad, easy, hard, all kinds of situations in life, we keep speaking that word, keep mediating in that word, keep doing that word and God said, you will prosper and be successful. That is a principle in the bible, something we should live by. I want to encourage us, let’s follow God’s instruction, keep His word in your mouth, declare His word in every situation. I’m more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me. My God always causes me to triumph in Christ. Through my God, I shall do valiantly. My God never leaves me nor forsakes me. My God says I’m an overcomer and I overcome. So, declare God’s word. Let’s pray, Father, we ask that you help us in very situation to keep your word in our mouth, to say what you said, declare your unfailing promises and to know that you will watch over your word to fulfill it in our lives, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
