Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Integrity (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Paul Emmanuel

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to spend time in God’s word and a few moments in prayer as well. This week, we will be talking about integrity and how we as believers, God is calling us to walk in integrity in every area of our lives. Proverbs chapter 21, verse 2, ‘Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts.’ In the bible, integrity is a virtue that points to consistency between what is inside and outside, between belief and behavior, our words and our ways, our attitudes and our actions, our values and our practices. Integrity is consistently living with a good character such as honesty, faithfulness, reliability, morality and self-control. It doesn’t depend on how easy or difficult the situations/ circumstances maybe. According to this scripture, a true gauge of a man’s integrity is in his heart. The world evaluates a person’s integrity from what he sees in a man’s outward behavior. Jesus is the perfect example of a man of integrity. After He was baptized, He went into the wilderness to fast for 40 days and nights, during which time, satan came to Him in his weakest moments to break His integrity and corrupt Him. Jesus was wholly man and wholly God at the same time. He was tempted in every way just as we are, however, He was without sin. This is the definition of integrity. Jesus is the only one who was ever without blemish, perfect, completely faithful and always true to His pattern of good works. Integrity in our world implies moral incorruptibility. Christians should be those who cannot be bribed/ compromised because we serve God rather than man. We are to be able to keep our word, we are to love those around us, both with word and deed. We are called to believe in God and therefore to follow Him in all our ways. Our lives should line up in the belief of God and it should show by evidence in the way that we live. Maybe that is why people flock to Jesus, He was different from the teachers of the law and other religious leaders. Jesus was who He was inside and out. Integrity for Jesus was to show what God was like; truth and grace wrapped in a human package. To live with integrity is to follow the example of Christ and we can only live with true integrity by His power which He graciously and freely gives to each one of us. Jesus wants us to live lives of integrity. Let’s ask God to fill us with this virtue, this holy character that our lives will emanate integrity and honor God. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you for your word and that you are the perfect example of integrity, that when you walked on this earth, you walked in integrity and I pray that you will enable each one of us by the power of your Holy Spirit to walk the same life, to walk knowing that we represent you in this world, we thank you for doing it in our life, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
