Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you for joining us today; today is the last day of this year. As we get ready to wrap it up and get ready to step into a new year, we are filled expectation and we must release the past, like the apostle Paul said, leave the past behind and get ready with expectation for what lies up ahead. Many of us would be most likely joining together with other believers, worshiping, praying as we prepare for this entry into a new year and what we've been doing this week is pronouncing God's word over our lives. The word from Malachi chapter four verse two, where it says, ‘But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. It's very interesting in this verse, the prophet is using different images; first, he's talking about the sun and then suddenly changes to the image of a bird with big feathers, wings, but really when you look up the Hebrew there, it is talking about an extensive covering and of course it's good to call it wings, as in the bird that extends its wings and hovers. But really the picture here, if you extend it in alignment to what he has already spoken, the beams of the sun, he's talking about the rays just covering you completely. But these rays, he says are rays of righteousness and healing, wholeness, soundness, well-being, so these beams of God, these rays of God not only bring righteousness, but they cover you fully like wings that cover you, His beams and rays will fully cover you with healing in His wings, with healing in His all-encompassing and His all covering rays and beams of light, healing. So, God is saying I'm going to pour out and to shine healing into our lives, wholeness and what will happen? Consequently, he says you will become, again he uses a third image of well-fed calves that come out of a stall, you know, they are fed well, they come bouncing out, all happy, all satisfied because in that stall they've eaten to their heart's content, so to speak, they're well fed, nothing lacking. So that means it's a symbol or a picture of health and vitality and energy and strength and that's what we're pronouncing over our lives, that the sun of righteousness arise, administering righteousness, justice, and goodness in our lives and healing coming forth so that we can be strong, held, and blessed in every area of our lives, expect that because that's what God will do for you. Let's pray, Father, even as we have pronounced over your people, that you will arise like the sun of righteousness, bringing righteousness and healing and wholeness in our lives and our lives will become strong, healthy, filled with health and vitality, so be it in each one's life. We receive it by faith, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
