Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings once again and welcome to Living Supernaturally. It is such a joy to come together, to meditate in God’s word and spend a few moments in prayer as well. This week, we are talking about the assurance that we have as God’s children. Psalms chapter 139 and verse 5, ‘You hem me in behind and before, and you lay Your hand upon me.’ This magnificent psalm came from David’s pen, who was the sweet psalmist of Israel. The psalmist reflects David’s prayerful meditation of God’s omnipresence and omniscience and the effects of those characters in us as human beings. David’s heartfelt journey through the good, bad, challenging and the unbelievable remains alive and powerful and relatable throughout this psalm. There is a sense in which everything that we will do is shaped before we were born. What kind of person we will be, our strengths, our weaknesses, our abilities, our talents, because God is involved in our creation, God is also involved in our everyday life. God is watching over every breath and every step we take. There is no where we can go, where God is not present. Is this good news or bad news? Sometimes, we don’t want to tell people everything that we feel inside of us. We are afraid they may find out something about us, or we rather keep it secret or think that they won’t like it. The good news is that God already knows everything about us and He still accepts and loves us. God is with us through every situation, protecting and guiding us. He knows us completely and that doesn’t stop us from loving us completely. There will be times in our lives when we may take a different path, we may turn away from God, maybe because of something that happened in our life, maybe a loss of a loved one, maybe failure and we may take a turn away from God but God is assuring us that He still loves us. The assurance for all who know and love God is that no matter where we go, no matter how far we try to run away from Him, no matter how difficult the hardships we face, the troubles, the dangers, the persecutions, the challenges that we see, we can never be separated from God’s comforting love. Do we have this assurance today? Are we assured that no matter what happens, the presence of God will always be with us. Let’s pray, Father, we want to thank you for this time, we thank you for your word. Thank you, Lord, that your word declares that you will never leave us, you will never forsake us, that you hem us in, that you know each and every day of our lives even before a day came to us. We thank you that you still love us and accept us through all our failures and challenges. Lord, we pray that we will give you the glory in our lives and that we will be children who will love you, who will walk with you every day. May our lives be a blessing to the people around us, we thank you for this wonderful opportunity, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
