Greetings, thank you so much for the opportunity to come to you today and spend a few moments in the word of God and prayer. This week, we are talking about the A, B, C’s of faith, the basics, the fundamentals, the essentials that we need to know concerning how to live by faith, how to exercise our faith. the second very important thing that we need to understand is that faith comes by hearing God’s word. Romans chapter 10, verse 17, ‘So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ So, it's the word of God that inspires faith, it's the word of God that not only creates faith but sustains faith, that develops faith, that helps our faith grow, that strengthens our faith. All of this happens by the word of God and so, for us to have faith it simply means, I believe the word of God, I believe what God has spoken in His word and it is based on what God has said. We recognize that our God is a God who cannot lie, that God is speaks the truth and His word concerning anything is final, it's absolute truth and so we put our confidence on that, we put our trust in that and that is how faith is birthed and nurtured because of the word of God. So, concerning every area of your life, I want to encourage us to just look at what the Bible says and let the word of God create faith and nurture faith in our hearts concerning our lives, concerning our health, concerning our finances, concerning our family, concerning our future, concerning every aspect of our lives. What did God say? God said, I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you a hope and a future, so that builds faith. I know God's got good things ahead for me and God's going to lift my life up because He said, mark the blameless man for the end of that man is shalom, he's going to experience shalom. God, I know my life is going to be blessed. So, the word of God builds faith in your heart and you keep nurturing that faith by constantly continuing to hear the promises, to hear the word and that's how faith is nurtured and strengthened with the word of God. Let's continue to be diligent in feeding ourselves with God's word. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for your holy word, that your word is true and we choose to believe your word, what you have said concerning every area of our life, we believe it and thank you for it, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
