Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you once again for this opportunity to minister to you through God’s word and spend these few moments in prayer as well. This week, we will be talking about reconciliation and today, we talk about Jesus who is the healer of broken relationships. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, verses 17 to 21, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.’ This world is full of people with broken hearts, broken spirits, broken relationships. The pain of a broken relationship includes a very personal loss, a time of bereavement, sometimes the hurt is so great that it prevents people from functioning properly. In extreme results, it can lead to depressions, suicidal tendencies and much more. The world puts forward various ways to deal with pain, taking antidepressants, writing letters and probably tearing them up, going on a shopping spree, getting a makeover, so many other things to just divert our attention away from the pain. Some advocate positive thinking and some of them say the most common cure is time itself. While the intensity of a heartbreak may wane over time, only a child of God can experience complete recovery because you and I as believers, as Christians have the unlimited access to the love and the power of the Spirit of God. The one who heals every broken heart and the one who binds every wound. Sin involves not only violating the commandment but also a betrayal of relationship. Not only do we need Jesus Christ to receive the punishment we deserve but we also need someone who could heal our broken relationships. In our sins, we betray God. Genesis chapter 6, verses 5 and 6 says, ‘The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.’ Can people or believers be reconciled? The answer is yes! Broken relation between us and God, the Lord Jesus fixed it. He healed it through the finished work of the cross. He can make all things new. He can reconcile our relationships. Jesus can draw us back to God. Here are just a few suggestions on how we can do that. Pray to God, forgive the person, admit your wrongdoings, pursue peace overall and may the Lord empower us to do this. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for today. We thank you for your word that is so powerful and ministers to us. I pray that we will remember to walk with your word, that we will obey your word, follow your precepts and know that you are a God who is with us. We thank you for your presence in our life, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
