Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally, thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to come your way and minister God's word and spend a few moments in prayer as well. This week, we'll be talking about God's will, how God purposes and leads us to fulfill every plan and purpose that He has for each of our lives. Today, let's look at God's eternal purpose. Psalms chapter 115 and verse 1, ‘not to us, Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.’ It's not about us, that's what Psalms chapter 115 says, ‘not to us, Lord, not to us. Make sure that God comes first in our life. Now it sounds simple but it's not that easy. It's good and wise for us to rest on the truth of God's word especially when we face the various challenges that life has to offer. It is important for us to trust the promises of His word for they are indeed food for our soul, refreshment for the weary, hope for the dejected and sufficient for all our needs in the day of trouble. Christ truly is our sufficiency. Every believer in Christ, rejoices in their salvation knowing that their sins have been forgiven and that they have received eternal life, knowing that we have a great, glorious inheritance which is laid up for us in heaven but there is much more that is contained in the purpose of God which was determined even before the world was made. The length and breadth and depth and height of God's eternal plan and purposes are so much greater than the individual circumstances and challenges that we may face in our life. Yet, by God's grace, we have been called according to His greater plan. We know it's not about us and we want to put God first but there are so many pressing needs in life that draw us away, problems to deal with and before we realize it, life becomes all about us. We know we have to put things first when we pray but often we put our own things when we begin to pray. And sometimes we worry about what people think of us rather than what God thinks of us. It takes a relationship with God that truly says, not to us, Lord, not to us. The more we get to know Him and grow closer to Him, the easier it is for us to put God first. We have to recognize who God is, what He has done for us and to help us direct our priorities. The plans and purposes of God do not revolve around us and our lives, although in His grace, He has included us in His greater purpose. Because we trusted Christ as Savior, we have become the called according to His purposes. Let's pray, Father, we thank you for this beautiful opportunity that you've given us and we thank you for your word that teaches us that you are in control of each and every area of our lives. We thank you that your eternal purpose will always rule and reign on this earth and in each of our lives. Help us to recognize, understand and walk in that purpose, we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
