Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings and welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you once again for giving us this opportunity to come together and spend a few moments in the word and pray. Father knows best! Mathew chapter 6, verses 5 through 8, ‘“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. “Therefore, do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.’ God is omniscient. God knows all things, the past, the present and future. God is the source of all knowledge. God knows our potentials in every situation. He knows our every thought, even before we think it, He knows our every word, even before we speak of it. God always seeks our best interests and since He is all knowing, our Father really knows what is best for us. Sometimes, in the natural, as a father, I want to do what is best for my children. God has the power to accomplish more than we can ask, more than we can think, more than we can imagine. In our short sightedness, we sometimes think we know better than God and we ask for things that will unravel our lives. We even get angry when the Father fails to give us what we ask for. Our knowledge is limited, God is the source of all knowledge. Knowing that God is omniscient, shall allow us to trust in His will, trust in His word and trust in His timing. If God knows everything, then we wonder why do we go through painful situations and why does suffering continue? We may doubt God’s goodness and His plan. Job’s story of suffering reminds us that we don’t know everything and there are some things that we will never comprehend with our own finite knowledge. Though we don’t know all things, and we don’t know all the answers, God knows. Thank God for His perfect Father care over our lives. Jesus let go off His own desires and submitted to the Fathers will. Jesus trusted that His death was necessary for God’s perfect plan. As we pray, we need not tell God what His will is for our lives, we need to simply surrender to His perfect will and thank Him for His constant love and care upon our lives. Our Father desires nothing but the best for His children. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you, that we can surrender our will, our emotions, our plans for we know that you have good plans for us. We pray that we will submit to you in every way, that we will be assured that you know what is happening in our lives and you are a God who sees all things, you know the past, you know the present and you know the future and you will direct our paths. We thank you for this assurance, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
