Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome everyone, I'm so glad that you've tuned in to this study. We will look at faith in this series and I'm really excited about all the aspects that we will get to learn about faith. Talking about faith, this is the most foundational truth for any believer. God wants us to have faith and have faith in everything. Here is a scripture which I want to read for us, it's from Romans chapter one and verse 17, it says, ‘for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “the just shall live by faith”.’ So, we as God's children, need to live our entire lives by faith. Sometimes we have this tendency to compartmentalize our life as a believer and then our life outside in the world, our life in church on Sundays and then, there's the other life which happens from Monday to Saturday. But the scripture invites us to live by faith and living involves everything, it involves Monday through Saturday and Sunday and every area of our lives. So God wants us to have faith in all things and as believers, we require faith in everything that we engage in. Now, here's another passage from Hebrews chapter 11 and verse six that says, ‘but without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.’ So, as God's children, when we relate with God, one thing that God looks for in that relationship is faith and without faith, the scripture says, it is impossible to please God. Yes, we relate to God with love, we relate to God with receiving His grace, we relate to God in so many different ways, but here is something very, very crucial, God is looking for faith in our relationship with Him. Without that it is impossible for us to please God. So, I want to encourage us, no matter what it is that we are living out in our lives, when you look at Hebrews chapter 11, the passage about faith, there are so many people listed there and their walks of life, where some were trying to inherit the promises of God, some were trying to overcome opposition or some were in battle, some were in great distress, but all of them had one thing in common that pleased God, which is why they all got recorded in that chapter of Hebrews chapter 11, which is faith. Today, friends, as God looks at us, the one thing that He wants us to have in our lives is faith, whatever it is that you are doing, are you doing it by faith or are you doing it just like that because it needs to get done? So have faith in God and have faith in everything. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you want us to live our lives by faith in you, so we put our trust in you, we put our faith in every word which you have spoken over our lives. We pray that we will see the reward of that and that your name will be glorified in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
