Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Greetings! and thank you for this opportunity to be able to come to you, spend some time in God's word and prayer and thank you for tuning in. I want to remind you of a verse in scripture that assures us that no matter what hindrance you might find in front of us, God is able to bring it down. In Isaiah chapter 40 and verse 4, Isaiah prophecies, he says, ‘every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and high hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough places smooth.’ Also, Zechariah chapter 4, verse 6, God tells ‘who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain! And he will bring forth the capstone shouting “Grace, Grace to it”.’ In both these verses of scripture, you find one common thing, where God speaking through His prophet says, ‘every mountain will be brought low’ and in both these cases, the mountain is referring to things that prevent us from advancing, things that prevent us from moving forward. In Isaiah's case, it's about preparing the way of the Lord, it says, every mountain will be brought low, or every hill will be brought low. In Zachariah's case, it was about the task of completing, the rebuilding of the temple, God tells him, ‘This mountain that is before Zerubbabel it will come down, this obstacle will go and he will come and he will finish the work by His Spirit, it's not by might not by power, but by my Spirit and he'll come shouting grace grace to it. And this is true for you and me as well, that as we look ahead, maybe there are mountains, there are obstacles that you see, things that could possibly hinder you and keep you from fulfilling your dream, your goal, accomplishing what you are pursuing, you say, God, how about that mountain? What are we going to do? Be assured, every mountain will be brought down. When God goes before you to prepare the way for you, when God is with you as you pursue your dream, as you pursue the goals that you believe God wants you to pursue, whatever area of life, the God who is with you will bring mountains down and He will take you through to seeing your goal accomplished, the dream fulfilled, the things that He has put in your heart will come to pass and there's no mountain, there's no obstacle which is too big for God, He'll get him out of the way. So, believe that it's not by might, it's not by power, but it's by his Spirit, every mountain will be made low and by His empowering grace, you will finish the work, it will be done. God is with you. Let's believe it, let's pray, Father, we thank you, you are the God who moves mountains, you are the God who takes them out of the way so that we can move further in our journey and see things fulfilled. I pray for each one listening God that whatever mountain in their way, will be taken off so that they will see dreams fulfilled, purposes accomplished, goals achieved by your empowering grace, the power that comes from the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
