Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Ephesians 3 (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Jeyakumar Isaiah

Hello and welcome to Living supernaturally. We hope you are having a good day so far and its such a blessing to study the word together. This week we are looking at some of the prayers that have been prayed in the word so that we can learn from them, and we can pray those over our own lives. Maybe some of these things we have never even thought of, never even planned to pray such prayers, but when we look at some of the spiritual aspects that we see being addressed, we can pray the same over our lives.

Today, we are going to look at Ephesians chapter 3 and verse 17 onwards where Paul prays ‘that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; (meaning let Christlikeness be seen, be reflected in your lives), being rooted and grounded in love that you may be able to comprehend/understand with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.’ So, Paul is praying as a community of believers that you would know the extent of God’s love and this love that goes beyond knowledge and information. He is saying that this love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, it’s one thing to get information and learn about this but it goes beyond knowledge, and he is referring to an experience and revelation. Paul says that you may have this kind of revelatory knowledge and experience of the love of Christ.

The second part of verse 18 says, ‘that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.’ The picture that we have is of a freight ship which is loaded with all kinds of merchandise, goods, and containers, it is filled to capacity, every available space that can be loaded is loaded with the fray. Paul prays that over the believers, and he is saying that you maybe filled with all the fullness of God. In other words, he is saying, you be full of God just like how that freight ship is full of those containers and all the materials on it. You be full of God, in other words he is saying, you hunger after and you receive and then don’t be satisfied, you be filled with the fulness of God. Obviously, it is so that we may reflect the fulness of God through our lives.

Let’s pray along these lines, Father, we thank you that you called us to grow in community and to explore the length and breadth and understand your love that passes knowledge and goes beyond just information and to understand the context with other believers. We also thank you that your desire is that we be filled with your fulness. May we reflect this in our lives and make this our daily prayer. We thank you; we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’s matchless name we pray, Amen.
