Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome back everyone, thank you for sticking with us as we're talking about ingredients for success. In fact, the ingredient that we're going to talk about today is grit and that is the ability to persevere, that is the ability to not quit, through the course of whatever it is that we're doing, whether we're going through a rough patch or an easy one. So not to give up, that attitude is that ingredient for success. And lately we have also seen that a lot of studies show that our generation struggles with this ability, the ability to persevere. Everyone wants easy success, everyone wants to do well in life yesterday, but success doesn't come that easy, it only comes to us when we are willing to stick it out, when we're willing to persevere through the thick and thin. So don't give up, even when the going gets tough, stay on course and you will see better things coming your way. Today, I just want to draw our attention to the life and example of Jesus Himself, Hebrews chapter 12 and verses one through five, shows us that the Lord Jesus was somebody who kept at His call, by looking at what lay ahead of Him and this is something for us to learn from Jesus; when the going gets tough, it's easier to throw in the towel and say I will not finish this task and our generation struggles with that. But if only we could have the big picture in mind, Jesus looked at the cross, He looked at the fact that Him suffering would mean the redemption of mankind, Him suffering would reveal His love for His people. So, Jesus looked at the big picture and was the cross painful? Yes, it was very painful, but He was willing to go through it, He was willing to stay that course so that He can see greater results. He was willing to have the heavenly perspective and to manage some of the earthly inconveniences that came His way. So, this really calls us to have a vision, it calls us to have a big picture perspective of things and that is something that will take us through those tough moments. Today I just want to encourage different ones of us, if we don't make it to the finish line, we actually do not finish, so don't give up if we persevere the finish line is not too far away, so don't quit. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the example of Jesus, we thank you for the help of the Holy Spirit which is available to us and Father, we pray that even those who are going through a very challenging season and feel like they can't do any more of trusting your word and your promises, I pray that you will grant them grace, to keep moving on and to see your promise is fulfilled in their lives. Thank you, Lord, thank you for your wonderful empowering, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
