Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Creation (Daily Devotional)

by Sis Jean George

Shalom and thank you for joining us for another episode on Living Supernaturally. We’ve been having a wonderful journey of knowing how we can meditate on God’s word, being obedient to God, being in faith and activating the presence of God. Today, we are looking at another aspect. There is a revelation of God in creation and that is what we want to present today as to how to become more aware and activate His presence in our lives. You would have often felt the presence of God as you have walked out into nature. It may be standing on a high mountain or at the mouth of an ocean or walking through the woods, you would begin to experience the presence of God. The bible talks about it in Romans chapter 1, verse 20, it says, ‘From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see His invisible qualities- His eternal power and divine nature. So, they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.’ In this passage, Paul is saying that the creation of God is a constant reminder and a natural revelation of God. Whenever you are in the midst of God’s creation, you cannot but feel His presence, you cannot but feel the hugeness, the vastness of who He is. This verse talks about how we can clearly see His eternal power and divine nature and this is not just something for us as believers, but it is obvious and open for all eyes to see. If people just stopped to think, they can see His handiwork in everything God has created. In Psalm chapter 19, the psalmist talks about the glory of God that is seen through the heavens. The heavens speak the glory of God, the skies show His marvelous craftsmanship. The size and the complexity of creation, especially what you see in the heavens, is what shows us the eternal power of God and we know that God’s presence is so real. The beauty and the order and the design that you see in creation shows of His divine nature. God has made aspects of Himself known to all of humanity through creation so that no one has an excuse for unbelief of His existence. God’s attributes of His power and His divine nature has clearly been seen in creation. God’s creation reveals so much about God, we again knowledge by just examining his creation. When you observe the galaxies, you see how mighty and glorious He is, when you study the intricacies of a living cell, you see the intelligence and the skill of God and when you look and consider the human body, the tissues, the organs, you see the way that He placed everything with such wisdom. All of this makes us stand in awe of who He is and we can begin to experience His presence. I want to encourage you today as you go out for your walk or in a place where you see God’s creation, bring praise and worship ad you will begin to experience His presence in your life. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for creation that speaks of your glory and power and your might. Thank you that everything around us shows us of your presence in our lives. Help us to break forth in praise and worship as we experience you in nature, thank you Father, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
