Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

by Ps Paul Emmanuel

Hi everyone, welcome to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to spend these few moments in God’s word and prayer. Community is unity! Galatians chapter 3, verses 26 through 29, ‘For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.’ Unity is such an important aspect within the church. The unity of the church is the union of God’s people in all expressions. Bound to God and to one another by the gospel. The unity of the church is the union of the people of God in all the various expressions, bound to God and to one another by the gospel. Unity of the church should be the reflection of the unity of this One God where the church is built. There is only One God in the gospel and the church’ inner dynamic is to reflect this reality. One God and therefore one people of God. Too often we are divided with differences, we tend to be afraid of what other people may think or the new situations, we don’t take time to see each other as God’s children, created in His image. God reminded Israel consistently they were to have no other gods. The underlying premise was that Israel’ identity would inevitably be formed by the gods that they worship. The fact that the church now speaks different languages, sings different kinds of songs, different music, engages in different cultural habits tells us that the church is united, even though we are of different styles. Ephesians chapter 4 makes a case that God has called individuals to different offices in the church and understanding these different roles of those who occupy these offices is crucial because the church will flourish and retain its unity. Acts chapter 2, verse 44 says, ‘all the believers were together and had everything in common.’ Whatever the believers did, they did it together and built community in the process. From the big things in life to the small things, they did them together and learnt about who they were and who God is at the same time. The apostle Paul wanted his readers to know that their differences didn’t really matter, what really matters is Christ Jesus. As we believe in Him, we are all one. No matter our background, gender, economic or social status, we belong to Him as God’s children. That is an important thing to remember in a world that seeks to divide and frighten us, we find unity in Christ, through our Lord Jesus. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for the Body of Christ and we thank you that when you look at us, you are looking at us as one body. Though we are of different cultures, languages, and different in essence, you said that we are one in mind, heart and we pray that we will continue to walk with this mindset that your children, children created in the image of God. We thank you; we give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
