Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Come! Come! (Daily Devotional)

Shalom and welcome to another episode of Living Supernaturally. We are at the last episode of this series of ‘Come’, which are the invitations of Jesus. Now, this invitation is what we see in the last book of the bible which is revelation that says, ‘Come! Come!’ Notice, that there is an emphasis in this invitation. When we read the verse, you will observe that this emphasis keeps coming in. Revelation chapter 22, verse 17, ‘And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.’ This is the most lavish of all invitations, and whoever will, may come. This final chapter of Revelation talks of the certainty of the return of Jesus Christ and there are some proclamations that John the author makes in this book. He proclaims the coming judgment, the future rewards and about God’s offer of salvation, the promise of blessing for all who will come and he also gives a warning for those who do not respond to the call. Here in verse 17, we experience a beautiful invitation from the Holy Spirit, as well as the church which is the bride of Christ. We read that the Spirit and the church invite everyone to come. Come for what? To encourage them, those who were overwhelmed with fatigue and thirst, those who maybe dead in their sins, and those who will respond and receive to the call of eternal life. This is a pleading call to everyone; it is absolutely free for those who are willing to partake of this water of life. We also read that those who respond to this call are also repeating this beautiful invitation to the rest. This invitation is open, it is free, it is for every person, of every generation, no matter your race, no matter your gender, no matter your station in life, you are welcome to participate in this free gift of salvation, which is given freely, when you put your faith and your trust in Jesus Christ. If you haven’t responded to this invitation today, now is your choice to accept it. Come! Come! towards the Lord Jesus. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we come to you in response to your invitation. We specifically pray for those who are thirsting after you today, who are making a choice today to follow you in faith, to follow you as their Lord and Savior. We thank you that you have given them abundant life. We pray, even as we make this commitment to you, that you will bless them, that you will commune with them and have fellowship with them. Thank you for the call of salvation, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
