Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello everyone, we continue to speak about some of the prayers that we can pray for the church. Today, we will look at a passage from Isaiah chapter 60, it is an oft repeated passage quite loved by many people. Isaiah chapter 60, verses 1 to 3, ‘Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.’ Here is God calling His people to arise and shine because He has positioned us with His grace, with His love, with His empowering. Today, as a church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are that longing bride that looks forward to the return of our Lord Jesus and we position ourselves in a place of worship and adoration but at the same time, we see that God calls us to represent Him in this world. So, there is a need for us to awaken to the things that need to be done in the world right now. The Spirit of God over the years has been working and has been awakening communities of believers to move in what He is pouring out. Even today, it is so important for us to awaken to the things that the Spirit of God will be leading is to do. So, here is the call, on one hand, we are that adoring church where we are waiting in the presence of the Lord, we are longing for Him and there is a need for us to be in that place of intimacy with the Lord. Intimacy with the Lord doesn’t mean that we are not a church that needs to go out. So, there is the coming in to His presence but there is also the going out that needs to be done. So, as the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we must arise to what the Spirit of God is calling us to do in our times. So, one of the prayers that we can pray for the church body is that we may awaken and be sensitive to the voice of God and what He is saying to us in our times that we may understand what the Lord is pouring upon us and that we may also take our place. God has called each one of us on various mountains and He has given us our assignments. May we pray that all of us will take our position and be excellent in what God has called us to do and bring glory and honor to His name. Today, more than ever before there is an incredible need to engage society and the Lord Jesus calls all believers. We know that all believers are called to serve the Lord in the speres that He has placed them. May we pray that as believers we will engage various aspects of society, make a meaningful impact and leave behind a legacy for the world to see in the name of Jesus. Let’s be that church that arises and shines for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for the mandate that you have given us to live a life for the glory of your name. We pray that you will help us discern our position, take our position and be an example in that area, in that field and may the name of our Lord Jesus be exalted, may it be magnified, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
