Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Believe God (Daily Devotional)

by Ps Jeyakumar Isaiah

Hello and welcome to Living Supernaturally, we are so glad that you could be here for the daily devotion of All People’s Church. Today, we are looking at the topic which is receiving the promise or what has been given to us freely by grace and how do we appropriate it and receive it into our lives. We look at this work of grace and we see how do we appropriate it because it has been given so that we can appropriate it personally, walk in it, experience it whether it is salvation, forgiveness of sins, blessing, healing and every other provision that comes from God, it has been given/ extended to us freely by grace. So, where is the problem? Why is it that I can’t seem to have it automatically? We see that is received through faith. So, we are going to look at one aspect of it. Since Jesus paid it all, how do I receive it? Well, the answer is very simple, we need to believe God in order to receive which means we need to take God at His word because the price for that provision has already been paid and that is why it is a provision of grace. Isaiah chapter 53, verse 5 talks about that, ‘But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.’ So, the greatest price, that was the stripes of Jesus/ sacrifice of Jesus has already been paid. Ephesians chapter 1, verse 3 says, ‘Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.’ We are already blessed and have been provided for. So, how do I receive it? When we look at the faith of Abraham, he believed God. We see that Abraham believed God. We must know whom we believe, that He is good, faithful and that will help us to put our faith in Him, that nothing is impossible for Him and to Him, that He is the creator God. Secondly, when we say we believe God, we believe His word wholeheartedly, totally, every aspect of His word, who He says He is, all His promises and instructions, we believe it. Thirdly, we see that faith is the title deed and the evidence of things not yet seen. We also believe wholeheartedly, not halfheartedly but with all our heart. We also believe that we have received. When we say we believe God, it contains all this, we believe that we have received when we ask Him. Mark chapter 11, verse 24 says, ‘Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.’ This is how we believe in God to receive what has already been freely given to us. As we pray, let’s pray believing that we have already received into our lives. Let’s pray, Father, we thank you that we can believe in you because knowing who you are, that you are good, faithful, and you are who you say you are. We believe your word and take you at your word and we believe that whatever you have said will come to pass. We also believe that we have already received the things you have promised. May we walk in the fullness and manifestation of what we are asking, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
