Hello and welcome once again to Living Supernaturally, where we study the word of God with the intent of applying the word of God and experiencing the truth, experiencing the power of the word of God daily in our lives. We could be in various scenarios, various environments, the word of God is the same for the Bible says that as He never changes yesterday today and forever, Jesus is the same, so also, the word of God never changes, it stands the same through time, the power does not deplete at all. So, word of God is powerful and alive and it is eternal. Today, we are looking at this instruction which is there in the word which goes like this, be strong in the faith. We see this in 1 Corinthians chapter 16 and verse 13, it says, ‘watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.’ We know what faith is. Faith is to have that unshakable conviction in our heart based on the word of God and based on what God has said or what God is saying to us today. Faith is as we see in Hebrews chapter 11, it says that ‘faith is the substance of things that we are hoping for and the evidence of things that are not seen, that are not visible yet.’ But it is the evidence which means we've already seen it in our spirit, it is the evidence that we have already received in our spirit and that is faith. Now the Bible calls us to have this strong faith. Now there could be various kinds of faith based on what we see in the word of God that people displayed or people showed out through their lives. We see that there could be a situation where there is no faith and people could have no faith, they are so weakened or maybe it is an intentional thing, they don't have faith in God and they don't want to have faith in God or in His word. Or we could have people who who have weak faith, their faith in God is not strong, it is weak. Or we could have what the Bible calls us underdeveloped faith, where the Lord rebukes His disciples and He says, where is your faith? The word used there means underdeveloped faith which means it's not mature faith, it's not strong faith. It could also be faith mixed with unbelief, with a subtle unbelief that we are not even aware of. The Lord Jesus when it comes to that incident where the disciples asked the Lord and said Lord, why could we not cast out that demon? The Lord answers them and He says, because of your unbelief. Now the disciples had faith, they were ministering in faith, they were doing various things in faith and signs and miracles and wonders were following but this particular case of deliverance they could not cast out and why? The Lord answers and He says because of your unbelief which means there could be a subtle unbelief that I'm not even aware of in my faith. We are called to develop our faith; our faith grows with the word of God. We are called to grow in our faith and be strong in faith. Shall we pray? Father, we thank you for this instruction, we thank you for this command to be strong in faith, in our faith in you. We pray that our faith will grow from where it is to be even stronger and we know that it comes from our knowledge of you, it comes from our understanding of your word and it comes from your word, from who you are. May we be strong in you and may we know you and may we be a people who will do great exploits of faith, we thank you, in Jesus’ name we pray amen
