Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Shalom and welcome to kitchen series of living supernaturally. So, I spend a lot of time in my kitchen, and I see how God speaks to me at the everyday routine of my kitchen work, whether it be a meal prepping, a vegetable chopping, or a multitasking moment, I see God speaks to me in different ways. I would like to share some of the things that God has spoken to me about, through my routine in the kitchen. Something I enjoy doing is making a bun and one of the key ingredients of a bun is yeast. We do see that yeast is a very fine and a microscopic thing that we use in the process of cooking, but we do see so much that this yeast is what really activates the change within the dough to make a perfect bun. This reminds me of what Jesus said in scripture, in Matthew chapter 13 and verse 33, ‘Another parable, He spoke to them: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” ‘So, what does yeast do? This yeast as small and microscopic as it is, even though being small, it begins to increase, as this yeast is kneaded into the dough, it activates the change and there is an increase that comes about. This reminds me of how that the more that we allow the grace of God to live in our lives, it activates the change so much. Another thing of yeast is that the change that you see, it comes from within. The little that is used to knead it, it helps in activating the entire of the dough and making a larger sum of it. Similarly, the grace of God that begins to work from within us and it shows out on the outside. And the last thing that I think that we do see is that yeast, even though it works invisibly it is evident to all. So, when we look at ourselves and the meaning that we see from this is, when we trust in Christ, the grace that is there within us, begins to show up, it begins to manifest in our lives, not just to maybe our families but also to the world around. So, like yeast that activates the change, brings about something in double and triple the portion, to give out something that's so airy and lovely to eat, the grace of God works within us and brings about that change to make us people who are loving, who are enjoyable to those outside of us. So, as you stay in your kitchen today or as you make your bread, ask the Lord to help to activate that change within you, just like how this leaven activates the change in a bun. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for these little lessons that you teach us. Thank you for showing us that the grace that is there in our lives grows proportionately, grows effectively and is something that is evident to all, and may we love, may we give of ourselves to each other and to those around us. Thank you for your grace and your power that stays within us, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
