Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome friends, we are looking at faith and the different aspects concerning faith so we can apply it in our lives, and we can walk by faith. Today I want us to understand that God has emphasized faith for His power to be released in our lives. When we think about God, He is an omniscient, omnipresent God who knows everything and He's omnipotent- He's able to do all things by himself. God is also sovereign, but when we look at the way the Lord Jesus represented the nature of God, Jesus showed us that He responded to faith. At times when people did not have faith in Jesus, the scriptures tell us that He was not able to perform miracles in their lives. So, something wonderful God has done here and that is God has chosen to respond to faith even though He can respond anyway. God is sovereign and yet God has chosen to respond to our faith. Let's read a couple of Scriptures, in Matthew chapter nine, when blind men approached Jesus, this is what we read in verse 29, ‘Then he touched their eyes, saying, “according to your faith, let it be to you.”’ So how did Jesus respond to the blind man? He healed them, yes, but He healed them based on their faith. And so, He spoke to them and said ‘according to your faith, so God responded on the basis of the faith of people. Another incident is when the woman who had bleeding for many years touched Jesus in Mark chapter five and verse 34, this is how Jesus responds, He says, ‘and He said to her “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.’ Jesus was touched by many people. In fact, He was in a crowded place, so people would have been falling on Him and yet He responds to the touch of a woman and tells her, according to your faith, He says your faith has made you well. So, she touched Jesus with her faith. Our faith in God is important for God to work in our lives. Whenever we touch God with faith, God responds, we can reach out to God just with our emotions and our thoughts, but what God is really looking for is that faith in our hearts, which says, God, I know who you are, I know what you can do in my life. And when we touch God with this sense of knowing Him, we receive our miracles. There's another scripture in Matthew chapter 13 and verse 58, which says, ‘now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.’ While faith unlocks God's work, unbelief restricts God from working. So, let's have faith and let's overcome our unbelief and we will see God working powerfully in our lives. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, it's amazing that you have chosen to work through man's faith and even as we approach you by faith in our situations today, I pray that we will experience healing, we will experience open doors, we will experience breakthroughs, we will experience deliverances, thank you for moving in our lives through our faith, we bless you, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
