Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Access God (Daily Devotional)

Welcome friends, we've been studying this wonderful topic of praise and I believe that praising, choosing to praise will change our lives. Today, we're going to understand praise a little bit more. Psalms chapter 100 and verse 4 it says, ‘enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.’ It's a wonderful psalm that teaches us that for us to enter into the presence of God, God has given us this key of thanksgiving and praise. Many a time, we think of our God's goodness and His greatness and just keep it in our hearts. We could be going through challenging times and so we think more about our situation and we know that God is good and we are so occupied by our difficult circumstances, we never choose to verbalize the praise of God. But this scripture, it says, that as we begin to thank the Lord, as we begin to praise God, something will happen and that something is that the presence of God will begin to flood our lives. We can enter into His gates with thanksgiving, we can enter His courts with praise. The gates of God, the courts of God, referring to the presence of God. So today, if we are feeling distant from God, my question to us is have we praised the Lord? Have we given him our thanksgiving? And if we haven't, let's begin to do that and God's word promises us that His presence will begin to flood our being. I also want to share another verse with us, this is from Psalm chapter 22 verse 3, it says, ‘But you are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.’ God is enthroned in our praises. As we praise the Lord, we can imagine that we are building Him a throne, with every praise, we are getting a place, a beautiful place, an exalted place, a glorious place ready for our God and we are inviting Him to come and take His position. We want to give God the best and the highest position in our hearts and in our lives. How do we do that? By praising the Lord, one of the ways, there are many other ways, one of the ways in which we can do this is by praising the Lord. When we begin to praise Him, we build that position and as we invite Him to come, God comes in, He takes over and we are able to see His glory in all the deliverances that He brings about. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you are accessible, you have made yourself accessible through praise. So, God, we choose to praise you and Lord let your presence flood our lives, we invite you to be enthroned O God on our praises and Lord let your power be seen, let your power be declared, we worship and honor you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
