Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hi everyone, welcome once again to Living Supernaturally. Thank you so much for this opportunity to come together and minister to you. This week, we are talking about consecration and today, we will talk about a consecrated body. Romans chapter 12, verse 1, ‘Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.’ In this passage, we see that we as believers, need to present our bodies as living sacrifices. The word ‘bodies’ is plural but sacrifice is singular. Our consecration should be practical and definite. So, we don’t just love the Lord with all our heart or get His word into our mind but our physical body must be consecrated. According to the principle that was laid out in the Old Testament with all the offerings and service to God, every offering/ service to God must be based on the fire from the altar of the burnt offering. When the children of Israel followed the tabernacle in their journey through the wilderness, they had God’s presence with them, speaking to them. However, they began only when God sent fire from heaven to consume the burnt offering on the altar. They had to build the altar, lay the wood, prepare the burnt offering, kill the animals, skin it out, cut it and then place it on the altar. The people of Israel were not allowed to make their own fire, that is, they were not allowed to burn a fire at any time they would like but they would do everything only after the fire that came down from God. In the same manner, we should not serve God just with our own natural zeal or excitement and passion which is important, we need to simply present our bodies to the Lord and let the fire of God burn in us and through us. Moses was zealous in himself when he was about 40 years old, ready to do something for the people of God but God didn’t approve the way he went about doing it and he had to wait 40 more years until Moses was discouraged with himself and God appeared to him in a burning bush calling him for a holy service. We, as believers, present ourselves as instruments of Christ. We declare our body has been bought by the blood of Jesus and our body belongs to Him. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray, Father, we thank you for your word and for teaching us through your word that we must be children who will present our bodies to the service of God. We surrender our bodies to you and everything that can take us away from you, we bring it at your feet and we pray that you will teach us to be living sacrifices, holy and pleasing in your sight, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
