Welcome friends, thank you for joining us. We are talking about the power of our words and the tongue. Today, I want us to focus on Philemon chapter 1 and verse 6 which says, ‘that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.’ Here we recognize that we can acknowledge every good thing which is in us, in Christ Jesus. We know that because of what Jesus has done on the cross of Calvary, we can receive salvation and those of us who believe in the Lord Jesus and have accepted this salvation, the Bible also tells us that we have become new creation in Christ Jesus. As new creation, there is so much that is spoken about us, that is we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus, we have been sanctified, justified, we have been made righteous, that God loves us, there are so many realities of what has happened to us in Christ Jesus. As per this verse, we are told we must acknowledge, every good thing that has happened to us in Christ Jesus. When we begin to do this, we will see that the life of that word will be released into our lives and more and more we will begin to walk aligned to what God has already accomplished in us. This is a call for us to be conscience about what we speak about ourselves. Here again, there is a choice, we can say things about ourselves that the world says, we could allow the accusations of the enemy or our own condemnations to work in our minds and pull us down but instead of that, let’s choose to speak God’s word, let’s choose to acknowledge every good thing that is us, in Christ Jesus.

Lets pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you for who we are in Christ Jesus and thank you that you that you want us to speak it and declare it by faith and even as we do that, we will walk in the fullness of what you have already done, thank you for doing this for us and thank you for the truth of your word, in Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.
