Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Hello and welcome back, welcome to Living Supernaturally, our daily devotion. We hope you've been enjoying your time in the word daily. We've been meditating on the cross and what the Lord Jesus accomplished for us on the cross and it's seems like a great exchange offer. We've been looking at some of those things and we've been studying that this Great Exchange offer is available freely for us because it's a gift of grace and how do we have access to this grace? It is through faith, it is through believing in the Lord Jesus and what He has done for us on the cross. So, today we look at one more aspect of what has been exchanged for us. We see that the Lord Jesus gave us life instead of death. It is so stark, it seems like two different ends of the spectrum where He has exchanged and He's offering us life instead of death. You can look at death in terms of what sin does. Decay, if you can picture something decaying, something being corrupted and something dying and being completely destroyed, well that is what death is, that is what sin ultimately does in a person's life. So, the Lord Jesus has taken that upon Himself, whatever is causing death and whatever is death itself, He's taken it upon Himself on the cross and in its place He's exchanging and He's offering life. If you can picture something thriving, something flourishing, things of beauty well He's exchanged and He's offering life for us. If you can look at Romans chapter 5 and verse 12, it says, ‘therefore, just as through one man sin enter the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.’ So, it talks about the outworking of death because of sin but the fact is that we have been redeemed from this. John chapter 3 and verses 15 and 16 says, ‘but whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.’ This life that these verses talk about is the ‘Zoe’ the God kind of life which is spiritual life, thriving and flourishing, the God kind of abundant life and that's the life that has been extended to us. What do we do? We just receive it with gratitude, we receive it by faith, we receive it thankfully and say God I thank you Lord for this life that you're extending, this God kind of life, this Zoe kind of life that can touch all realms, of my existence of my life here, all realms, all areas whether it's work, studies, whether it’s life and marriage and everything, relationship the Lord extends this to us. We receive with gratitude but we also resist the work of the enemy to bring in death right we resist and we remind ourselves that we have this life God kind of life in us and we look for the expression of it in all areas of our lives. Shall we pray, Father, we thank you that because of the Cross you took death upon yourself and you're extending today life and may this God kind of life that you have put in us may it touch each and every aspect of our lives, everything God let it be Lord touched and Lord I pray that everything let it thrive and flourish because of this God kind of life that we have access to, Master, we thank you with grateful hearts, we give you all the praise, in Jesus’s matchless name we pray, Amen.
