Hello everyone and welcome to Living Supernaturally, the daily devotionals by All Peoples Church, where we spend a few minutes in God's word to encourage us, to build our faith up, and to live a life that is fruitful in God's kingdom. This week, we're going to focus on the theme holy habits, building godly habits that help us live a godly life. Today, I just want to focus on the power of building godly habits. Galatians chapter 6 and verse 9, Paul writes, "Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." This is a kingdom principle; the harvest of your future is determined by what you sow today. Small, faithful acts of obedience eventually produce lasting fruit. This is talking about a life where we sow every single day and eventually that sowing produces much fruit. There's a phrase that goes like this, "Show me your habits and I'll show you your future." It's that simple. Nobody wakes up planning to waste their potential, but our future isn't usually decided by big moments, it is decided by a thousand small repeated choices that nobody else may even watch or see. Think about a ship that is changing course by just 1 degree, the change is not seen immediately, but eventually in a few days the ship ends up in a completely different direction or a completely different destination. Our choices, our repeated habits shape our life, it takes us to our destination. So, what we do in the simple, repeated, small acts where nobody is watching, but these habits are shaping us and it is like sowing that eventually will become fruit. Matthew chapter 25 and verse 21, Jesus says this, "Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful over a few things; I will make you ruler over many things." God isn't interested only in the big things of our life, the big ministry, the big platform, the big breakthrough, He is watching what you do with the small, what you do right now, what you do with what is in your hands right now, the unseen moments. And so, we need to really remind ourselves that every day the choices we make, the actions we do, the things we do every single day, even though they are small, even though they are repeated, even though they may not seem very exciting, they are shaping us and God is watching every single thing we do. So, we need to ask ourselves, "Where will I be spiritually one year from today? Will I be doing exactly the same thing? Will I look more or less like Christ? Will I be closer to God or further from God?" The answer to these questions is by looking at our lives, seeing what we are doing every single day. The simple, small, repeated choices we make eventually shape us, eventually take us to our destination, and eventually make us people of fruit. Let's pray, Father, we just thank you once again for this time. Thank you, Lord, that you are reminding us that you watch over every single thing, even though it is small, even though it is unseen. Lord, we just pray for each one of us that we will truly understand the power of developing godly habits, that even though they are unseen, even though they may be hidden, nobody sees it, but our simple repeated choices, actions, they count, they are like sowing in your kingdom. Lord, we know that eventually they will bear much fruit. And I pray, Lord, each one of us be faithful with what you have given us. Lord, I pray that you will bring increase, you will bring lasting fruit as we are faithful in the small, repeated choices and actions we make. Thank you once again for this reminder, we thank you once again for this truth, in Jesus' mighty name we pray, Amen.
