From the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, to the Azusa street revival that spread across the world, and many other similar outpourings and revivals in Christian history, the experience and practice of praying in tongues has been a channel of great blessing and strength to many. We begin a series exploring this subject of praying in tongues, also referred to praying in the Spirit.
