Apc's Missions & Outreach Strategy

APC's missions and outreach work is focused on fulfilling the Great Commission by strengthening local churches and planting local churches where needed. APC follows a systematic approach to its missions and outreach work. There are three important aspects to this: EQUIPPING, CHURCH PLANTING, EMPOWERING.

This three pronged strategy is carried out state by state (or region) across India. In some cases, we combine several small states into a region (e.g., North East region comprising of Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh). In each state/region we work with a local Christian pastor/leader who assists us as our Missions Coordinator for that state/region.

is to spiritually train and strengthen pastors, Christian workers and Churches through our free Publications, Christian Leaders' Conferences, FOUNDATIONS for youth, Short-Term Bible Colleges, and Weekend Schools (including marriage seminars and worship workshops).

Church Planting

is important to establish Kingdom presence in a village, town or community. We get behind Christian workers by supporting their church planting work through Christian Workers Support, Church Building projects and Urban Church planting.

is to assist those who are underprivileged by providing practical means to elevate their lives through Education Sponsorship Program and small-business development. This is something we will begin to engage in soon.

Typically, we work with people who go through our EQUIPPING programs, in our CHURCH PLANTING and EMPOWERING missions outreaches. In our CHURCH PLANTING, we assist people in planting new churches or provide support to those already engaged in church-planting work in needy areas. We do not require these Christian Workers or church plants to come "under" APC, but instead encourage them to pursue the vision God has placed in them. We also identify people whom we can assist by helping them with education or micro-financing to start businesses that become a viable means of livelihood for themselves and others in their community and a tool for furthering the Great Commission.
