APC's missions and outreach work is focused on fulfilling the Great Commission by strengthening local churches and planting local churches where needed. APC follows a systematic approach to its missions and outreach work. There are three important aspects to this: EQUIPPING, CHURCH PLANTING, EMPOWERING.
This three pronged strategy is carried out state by state (or region) across India. In some cases, we combine several small states into a region (e.g., North East region comprising of Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh). In each state/region we work with a local Christian pastor/leader who assists us as our Missions Coordinator for that state/region.
Equipping
Church Planting
Empowering
Typically, we work with people who go through our EQUIPPING programs, in our CHURCH PLANTING and EMPOWERING missions outreaches. In our CHURCH PLANTING, we assist people in planting new churches or provide support to those already engaged in church-planting work in needy areas. We do not require these Christian Workers or church plants to come "under" APC, but instead encourage them to pursue the vision God has placed in them. We also identify people whom we can assist by helping them with education or micro-financing to start businesses that become a viable means of livelihood for themselves and others in their community and a tool for furthering the Great Commission.
