In-Person Services church in Bangalore

In-person Sunday services have resumed since Sunday, November 01, 2020. The services are being held with a limited number in attendance (maximum of 200 people) and other precautionary measures in place (see below). These services will be streamed live via our online channels (Church Website, YouTube, Church App, Facebook).

GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATING AT IN-PERSON WORSHIP SERVICE
[including directives from the Ministry of home Affairs (MHA), (Order No. 40-3/2020-DM-I (A) Dated 30 September 2020].

(A) Protection of vulnerable persons – Persons above 65 years of age, those residing with elderly, persons with co-morbidities, pregnant women, children below the age of 10 years, those in recent contact with persons testing positive for Covid-19, those experiencing flu-like symptoms, and those with body temperature above 98.6 F, are requested to stay at home. Please join the services online.
(B) Maximum capacity – In closed spaces, a maximum of 50% of the hall capacity will be allowed, with a ceiling of 200 persons. We will increase this number gradually, as permitted by local government authorities.
(C) Face mask – You must enter the auditorium wearing a face mask covering nose and mouth and keep the mask on for the entire duration inside the auditorium. Masks worn hanging loosely on the chin or neck are not allowed. (Only the worship singers and preacher will be without face mask when ministering on the stage).
(D) Contact tracing – Entry to the auditorium is via the main entrance only. At the entrance to the auditorium you will be asked to provide your full name and mobile number (for families one person from the household). This information will be used as part of contact tracing, if required.
(E) Hand sanitizer and temperature check – You will be requested to sanitize your hands (sanitizer provided) and accept a temperature check at the entrance to the auditorium.
(F) Sanitize belongings – Please sanitize any personal belongings you are carrying with you into the auditorium (handbags, etc.).
(G) Holy Communion elements – We participate in Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month. You are requested to bring your own elements for the Lord’s table (bread and grape juice) or you may pick up pre-packaged elements at the entrance. (Please carry plastic containers out of the auditorium and dispose them in designated recycle bins after the service).
(H) Drinking water – We recommend bringing your own bottle of drinking water. No refreshments will be served at venue.
(I) Physical distancing – Inside the auditorium you are requested to be seated only in designated seats to ensure everyone maintains required physical distance. After service we request that you maintain physical distance when meeting and greeting people.
(J) Cooperate with volunteers – Please cooperate with our volunteers who serve as our ‘frontline workers’ in helping us host the Sunday services. They will be wearing face masks and gloves to protect themselves as well as the people we are serving.
(K) Post-service ministry time – Post service prayer time will continue online via Zoom. For those attending in-person services, and needing personal prayer/ministry, please maintain physical distance in queue, and please follow volunteer instructions.
(L) Pre-registration – In case the number of people who begin attending in-person services exceed the maximum permitted by local government authorities, and what the auditorium can accommodate with safe physical distance, we will include an online pre-registration process for people to pre-book their seats. You will be notified via SMS and email, if registered with us.
