The word 'flesh' is any ungodly desire that satiates the natural appetite of a man's body and soul. Don't put yourself in a place where your flesh gets the upper hand. Make no provision for the flesh to feed on you and starve you. Feed your spiritual appetite by strengthening your inner man. Walk in the presence of God.
