All that we experience in our life in Christ, beginning with salvation is by grace through faith. Paul shares with us what the Lord Jesus has done for us - both Jews and Gentiles. He has made us one - in Jesus there is neither Greek nor Jew (Galatians 3:28). The middle wall of separation, the law of commandments contained in ordinances has been abolished. We, both Jews and Gentiles are now one new man following the Lord Jesus and His Word for us. This has been made possible through the what Jesus accomplished on the Cross.
We discover in Ephesians 2, our position in Christ, that we live out of this life in Christ by grace through faith, and the amazing truths of being His workmanship, belonging to the family, and being a dwelling place of God.
We present a background to Paul's epistle to the Ephesians and begin examining Chapter 1. We discover truths of our amazing and unlimited spiritual inheritance because we are in Christ and this is such a blessing! We are also taught how to pray for one another, four important revelations in which we need to keep on growing.
