This year you will receive an outpouring of blessings that you cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). While the Scriptures apply to us all of the time, in God's dealings with us as individuals and as a community, there are specific seasons He brings us into. The Psalmist said, my times are in His hands (Psalm 31:15). The times and seasons of life are in His hands. And as He brings us into specific seasons, we need to be aware of what He intends to do and we must respond correctly.
We find the real joy of Christmas when we make the Savior the focus of the season. Our celebration of Christmas should be a reflection of the love and selflessness taught by the Savior.
The glory cloud of God's manifest presence actually has rain of miracles, signs, wonders, harvest of souls, etc. We must pull it down. We must have a continued hunger and desperate desire to see His power and glory. Alongside silence and quietness are important keys to stepping into the glory. We need to be sensitive to both. Get hungry for new realms of Glory!
When the Spirit of God, His presence and glory, hovers over a person or place, the power and potential for signs and wonders, creative miracles is present. While the Spirit of God is hovering in this manner, we must release the working of creative miracles.
We were designed by God to manifest His glory. When God is personally present in our lives, we are able to live fully. When we abide in the Holy Spirit, we shine, we glow, we reflect God’s glory to the world. On the other hand, Sin and Rebellion Causes His Glory To Lift.
God desires for His glory to be manifested through His people here on earth. His desire to seek out and raise up a nation of people was so that through them the earth could be filled with the glory of the Lord.
At its very core our ability to manifest His glory and exercise authority on the earth - flows naturally out of who we are as sons and daughters of God - and as we walk in an intimate relationship with God, walk in submission to Him, and fulfill responsibility He has given us. The ‘weapons of our warfare’ we use are tools to express the authority that flows from these.
Glory is the atmosphere of heaven just like air is the atmosphere of earth. Although God in His Being resides in heaven, His Presence administers His glory everywhere. We study various instances in the Bible where the Glory of His presence is described.
Glory is used to refer to the very substance of His Person - a manifestation of who God His (His character, virtues) and what He does. For God there is no distance and no time. He dwells in eternity. He is omni-present. In the glory there is no distance. In the glory there is no time. Stay tuned to part 1 of this series.
The names/titles of the Holy Spirit given in the scriptures aren’t meaningless. They are synonyms for the third person of the Trinity. Rightly understood, these names provide tremendous insight into the will, ways and work of the Holy Spirit.
