The vision of the Performing Arts Ministry is to inspire, encourage and impact lives through powerful contemporary concepts performed using dance and drama. We also aim to provide a platform for people of all age groups to showcase their talent and a forum where they can connect, grow and build God’s kingdom together.
We have performed several forms of dances such as hip hop, lyrical ballet, free style, flag dance and hand mime.
We have also staged four large scale theatre productions and also performed many skits and mimes.
Our first theatre production was a shadow play- The Cross at the Cradle.
Deliverer was a concept play that depicted what happened in the spiritual realm from the cross till Ascension
One Phone Call was our biggest hit till date. We made use of different art forms such as hip hop, lyrical ballet, musical, mime and special musical videos to keep our audience spell bound as we weaved them through different emotions.
Our most recent production Live with Larry Poppins, was a very powerful role play of Biblical characters from Jesus’ time who were interviewed in a modern day television talk show.
We have been invited to perform our famous and powerful hand mime - Who am I at several corporate as well as Christian events. In 2010 alone we performed in 16 different venues. We have also performed live on the local TV channel -Chandana as well as India’s nation channel – Doordarshan.
We recently took part in Short+Sweet, an Australian Theatre festival where only select theatre groups in Bangalore were invited to participate. 'The Hindu', one of the largest English dailies in India , mentioned us as the ‘highlight performance of the evening.’
