Monday 03 July 2017, 15:00 - Sunday 23 July 2017, 16:00
Earlier this year we decided to set aside 21 days where we would as a church community earnestly seek God in prayer.
We invite each of us to engage in prayer above and beyond what we would normally do.
Our theme expresses our hearts desire for the glory of the Lord to be seen upon us His people. "Let your glory be seen upon us"
Let us ask God to help us become a people of prayer and in prayer pursue His promise in Isaiah 60:1-3.
PRAYING THROUGH THE BOOK OF ACTS
During these 21 days, we will read through the Book of Acts and pray for ourselves, our church, the citywide church and our city, using the book of Acts.
Attached is a prayer guide, for these 21 Days of Prayer.
You can pray by yourself, get together with others in small groups, or even open your home for others at church to come and pray.
You can pray for any length of time convenient to you and fast a meal or more if you desire.
DO IT IN SMALL GROUPS
We encourage you for do this in groups where you can pray together, and also share what you are learning and hearing from God as we read through the book of Acts. If it is difficult to meet together, you can form virtual groups using social media tools (e.g. WhatsApp, Google, youversion.com, etc.) and engage meaningfully in prayer and sharing.
